I don’t know what it is about the city that is so sensual and alluring but it begs all visitors to stay. A hot summer’s day in Paris consisted of the  “must-do’s” that I had etched in my memory from a young age, all of which I discovered on foot with a good old-fashioned map. Walking is the best way to see what a city has to offer and allows you to snap the best photos. So here is a little list of what I think you should see/do in a day in Paris:

Take the lift to the very top of the Eiffel Tower (324m) and have a picnic at it’s feet  (Grab a crepe suzette filled with nutella-yum) /  The Louvre Museum which holds the very tiny Mona Lisa / The Arc de Triomphe de l’Étoile is one of the most famous monuments in Paris / Shopping on The Avenue des Champs-Élysées (a street in Paris) where one can find Saint German,Louis Vuitton etc / The Notre-Dame Cathedral is widely considered to be one of the finest examples of French Gothic Architecture. / The Palais Garnier Opera House which has an exquisite gold interior / Laduree  (Maison de Macaron) which is famous for their delicious macaroons / Try out the “best hot chocolate in the world” from Angelina’s / Take a cruise on the River Seine  where you can take in the sights at ease.( The love lock bridge also crosses the River Seine)

The City of Lights is ,of course, best praised in pictures.
